An Act of Spiritual Communion
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Be a Voice for the Voiceless!
You are invited to participate in the Respect Life Committee of the Eastern Stark County Region. Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month. Our next meeting will be October 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Social Hall at St. Joseph Parish, Maximo (downstairs in the school building – 12055 Easton St. N.E.). For more information contact Dave Schmidt at 330-309-8860 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The respect life issues that we address – when human beings are most vulnerable at the beginning and end of life – are more than just political issues. The late congressman Henry Hyde, said it well: "When the time comes, as it surely will, when we face that awesome moment, the final judgment, I've often thought, as Fulton Sheen wrote, that it is a terrible moment of loneliness. You have no advocates, you are there alone standing before God …. But I really think that those in the pro-life movement will not be alone. I think there'll be a chorus of voices that have never been heard in this world but are heard beautifully and clearly in the next world -- and they will plead for everyone who has been in this movement. They will say to God, 'Spare him, because he loved us!'"
Please join us and be a voice for the voiceless in this world!
