St. Joseph Faith in Action Ministry has chosen as a mission to respond to the Gospel call to build the Kingdom of God here on earth by reaching out and serving as Christ’s hands and feet in our community. This month we have chosen to show our love and support to the St. Joseph Spirit of Hope project. We will be taking pre-orders for homemade soups (even some made by our “infamous” Fr. Matthew), rolls, and cookies. Please use the order form that is included in the bulletin and return with payment before February 27.

We hope that you will support us in this endeavor to help others.

St. Joseph Faith in Action Ministry continues to offer (at no charge) to those in need our time and talents. If you have a need, know someone who has a need, or would like to offer your own time and talents to serve others, please do not hesitate to contact the Church office. God Bless!

FUNTASTIKS’ SENIOR PARISHIONERS’ CLUB of St. Joseph Church, Alliance, Ohio Tuesday, February 21, 1 p.m. Schwartz Center St. Joseph Church, Alliance The program will be presented by Jim Gazia, whose topic will be: “Living as a laryngectomee” Refreshments and a time of fellowship will follow the program and the meeting. The objective of this organization is to provide recreation, companionship, stimulating programs and information for its members in a Catholic environment. Membership is open to Catholics 50 years of age or older, or those younger with a strong interest in the Funtastiks Club.

The Catholic Woman’s Club will be going as a group to the matinee at 2:30 p.m. at the Firehouse Theatre on February 26, to see the play, “Into the Woods”. Husbands and guests of members are welcome. If you wish to attend, please call Mary Ann Basar at 330-821-7226 or Clarice DiRuzza at 330-823-9814 to make a reservation by January 29. Tickets are $12 each and must be paid for by February 1.
